  • How are the lights attached to my house?
    We typically use a non permanent plastic clip on nearly every roof and gutter.  We only use a more permanent clip, if no other solution allows.  Each application is unique and will be reviewed and approved by the customer before any work commences.
  • Who removes and stores the lights after the season ends?
    KC Holiday Lights, starts removing lights Jan. 02, of the following season.  We work quickly to remove all lights by Valentine's Day, weather permitting.  Out latest guaranteed removal time is March 15th.
  • Whose lights are they, the company's or the homeowners?
    The customer retains ownership of all lights.  KC Holiday Lights will at any time surrender the lights to the property owner upon written request.
  • How long does an installation take?
    Since each application is different, it is impossible to give exact time.  Typically an average installation will take an entire day for our crews to complete.
  • How do I know if I have enough power outside?
    One of our professional designers will design a layout for your home, and will inform you of the power requirements, and the options if an upgrade is necessary.
  • What kind of lights do you use?
    Most of our residences and commercial applications use the popular C-9 bulbs.  Colors are at the customer's discretion.  We have many different colors to choose from.
  • Is the company fully insured?
    Absolutly, KC Holiday Lights Inc. is fully insured on all property, vehicles, and workers.
  • Is anyone in the company electrically certified?
    Yes, we hold electrical contractors licenses in the municipalities that require them.
  • Why should I use KC Holiday Lights?
    KC Holiday Lights is going on their 7th Year in business.  We only advertise through word of mouth by satisfied customers.  We make sure to understand your needs and strive to meet them.
